Ingredients
Zest of 1 pink grapefruit
Juice of 2 pink grapefruits
Pinch of salt
½ cup of Stevia
2 cups of water
10-12 fresh basil leaves
Soda base preparation
- Combine stevia, grapefruit zest & juice, water in medium saucepan
- Bring to boil over medium to medium-high heat
- Remove from heat and add basil leaves
- Let steep for 1 hour
- Strain out & discard any solids
- Place in ½ quart Mason jar & keep for up to two weeks
- Fill glass ½ full with ice
- Muddle & add two basil leaves (optional)
- Add 3 tablespoons of syrup
- Add carbonated water
- Stir
